Main Responsibilities:

•         Assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies.

•         Prepare contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.

•         Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.

•         Perform risk, value management and cost control.

•         Advise on a procurement strategy.

•         Provides advice on process design works requiring specialist knowledge, suggesting the most effective and economical methods.

•         Allocate work to subcontractors.

•         Provide advice on contractual claims.

•         Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports.

•         Value completed work and arrange payments.

•         Understand the implications of health and safety regulations.

Requirements

•         Minimum 2 or 3 years of relevant experience as Quantity Surveyor in Interior Joinery Fit out Projects.

•         Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and

•         Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

•         AutoCAD quantity take-off experience

•         Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

•         Multi-tasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work; Work well under pressure

•         Good command of written and spoken English

•         Gender: Male

•         Ideal age range: 30 - 35 years

•         Currently in Qatar

•         GCC experience is an advantage
